When You Are Destitute
Today, I want to do something a little odd. I want to start the sermon today by asking all of you to bow your heads and close your eyes. Because today, I want to ask you a very important question and I don't want the answer to be clouded by distraction or influenced by someone around you.
Are you destitute? The meaning of this word is: without the basic necessities of life! Do you sit here today knowing that you are without what you need to make it through today? If so, I want you to silently say before God today...God, I am destitute today. Please, meet my need.
