This past week, a new survey conducted by the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life indicated that most Americans don't believe that their religious tradition is the only way to eternal life even if their church's doctrines say otherwise. In their research, Pew found that 57% of evangelical church attendees said they believe that many religions can lead to eternal life. This survey is quite disturbing considering its scope. Over 35,000 adults were surveyed.
